What is Coach Blair Charities?
Coach Gary Blair has always had a strong desire to help others. Everywhere he coached he fully immersed himself into the city and tried to do what he could to help the local community.
However, there was one community that ultimately captured the coach's heart.
It all started in 1992 when Coach Blair began working with Special Olympics Texas and the joy he saw in the Special Olympians eyes. Every medal he hung around an athletes neck only intensified his desire to be involved.
His love and involvement with the Special Olympic community has continued to grow, and in 2008 Coach Blair Charities was established. Since that time over $1 million dollars has been raised for the Brazos Valley area teams, Special Olympics Texas, and various local charities.
Over the years the support from the Brazos Valley Community has continued to grow. The local businesses and individuals who have contributed to Coach Blair Charities are incredibly selfless and supportive and we look forward to maintaining our partnership with all of them for years to come
